Ministries

Community Seventh-day Adventist Church is an active church!

Being involved in the community and reaching out to those in need is our goal. If you are a member of our church or a member of our community and want to be a part of something larger than yourself, take a look at the ministries below and consider whether you would like to join us. We’d love for you to participate!

  • Women’s Ministry

The Gulf States Conference Department of Women’s Ministries strives to encourage and help each woman to Grow In Faith Through Service by helping her to realize and develop the unique talents and spiritual gifts given to her by God, which will assist her in reaching others for His kingdom

Our vision

We exist to encourage, equip, promote, and challenge Adventist women in their journey as disciples of Jesus Christ and members of His Church and to bring women’s unique perspectives to the issues facing the Church.

 Our mission

The mission of the Women’s Ministries Department is to model Jesus Christ through meaningful relationships and effective ministries.

  • Lend a Hand Ministry

Lend a Hand’s goal to is be the hands and feet of Jesus to members and non members of the church. If there is something you need a hand taking care of, this is the ministry to call. Any kind of odd jobs that you are not able to do yourself,  just give us a call and we’ll see what we can do.

  • Pathfinder Club

Pathfinders is a coed ministry for youth, grades 5-12, designed to lead youth to a closer walk with Jesus through activities such as camping, nature study, opportunities for service and other learning skills.

We also endeavor to equip them with leadership skills.

  • Adventurer Club is for youth in grades 1-4 and is used to prepare children for Pathfinders.  This club is more family oriented and the parents are strongly encouraged to participate, due to the age of the youth.
